To see how young adults spend their free time, I made a simple questionary that took only half a minute to answer and sent it via WhatsApp to 40 Communication students of the University of Navarra. I used WhatsApp because it was easier for me to reach my classmates via the class group. Only 20 answered.
I sent the text message seen in the right with the heading "5 PREGUNTAS EN 30 SEGUNDOS (5 questions in 30 seconds)".

Students gave names of different platforms, but none was named twice.

It is impossible to draw a specific conclusion because the questionary was too short, but the contrasting results proves that the main purpose of media usage for a great proportion of students of Communication of the University of Navarra is solely to be entertained.
